Quick Country 96.5 was proud to make the announcement Wednesday that Winstock is happening this summer, but is moving to August-- and is adding Sam Hunt to the line-up!

We were all bummed last year, of course, when Winstock had to postpone their 2020 festival until 2021. Well, they're committed to putting on an incredible show this summer, and to do that, they're moving Winstock 2021 to August 20th and 21st in Winsted, Minnesota.

Winstock explained the move in a special announcement released Wednesday:

"The Winstock goal every year is to present the most entertaining, fun and safe event we possibly can, and this year is absolutely no different! By moving this year’s festival to August 20 and 21, Winstock gains over two months to allow for a healthier Minnesota. Winstock committee chairman Dave Danielson says, 'We are focused on having Winstock in 2021, and by gaining over two months, we can work towards a safer event for guests, artists, volunteers and our community,'" the Winstock release said.

The Winstock release went on to explain a change in this year's line-up, as well:

"Winstock is excited to announce the reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year LUKE COMBS has taken this journey along with us. Virtually every single artist has adjusted their plans to transition with the new festival dates. Though Darius Rucker had previous commitments and was not able to change, in his place SAM HUNT joins the festival lineup on Friday night. Also returning to Winstock is Chris Janson, Brett Eldredge, Big & Rich, Shenandoah and Phil Vassar," the release said. Get the full Winstock line-up HERE!

And, there's good news regarding tickets and camping, too: Though Winstock VIP seats are sold out, tickets and camping reservations are automatically transferred and valid for the new August dates.  Ticket orders will be mailed in early June. Get more on the line-up, ticket info and reservations on the Winstock website. And, of course, keep listening to Quick Country 96.5 to WIN your way in, as well!
