The Minnesota State Fair may not be happening this year, but that doesn't mean you can't still sink your teeth into some genuine State Fair food, though.

Just about EVERYTHING from the biggest country concerts to county fairs and even the State Fair has been canceled in the Land of 10,000 Lakes this summer, thanks, of course, to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and pandemic.

But that doesn't mean that you have to go without your favorite Minnesota State Fair food this summer, though. Just like a few food stands have done in the parking lot of Apache Mall in Rochester, many State Fair food vendors are setting up shop at various locations around the Twin Cities metro and here in greater Minnesota. (Or 'outstate Minnesota,' if you prefer.)

In fact, there's an entire Facebook group that's been set up and is tracking just when and where your favorite State Fair food vendors are open throughout the summer. Got an itch for some Sweet Martha's Chocolate Chip Cookies? Check the State Fair Food Finder! Maybe you want a genuine State Fair Pronto Pup (which is, of course, DIFFERENT than a regular corn dog-- see why HERE), just check the handy State Fair Food Finder!

Here's a handy hint: Many of the State Fair food vendors are doing this summer what many food trucks have been doing for a while already-- setting up outside various craft breweries and taprooms in Minnesota. What goes better with a cold beer than some genuine State Fair food, right? You can check it out the Fair Food Finder (and ask to become a member) HERE.
