Talk about being generous!  A Rochester business just presented one of those great, big, huge checks to the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester for the amount of $22,580!

We've got so many businesses that truly are amazing in Rochester.  2020 was so hard and challenging for our community and if you are a local business, those challenges were personal and at times just unpredictable as we all were living in the midst of a pandemic.  Celebrating the victories that businesses had and how they were doing more for those right here in our community and demonstrating what #community is all about, became one of my focuses.  Victoria's Ristorante & Wine Bar, Newt's, and so many other businesses stepped up to help others and today, another one is shining bright by giving back, Subaru of Rochester.

Subaru of Rochester proudly held a great big, huge check and posted the following on their Facebook page:

Today we had the honor of presenting Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, Minnesota, Inc with a check for $22,580 from our 2020 Share the Love Event 💚
We would not be able to make this big of an impact without all of your support, so thank you!!💙

According to the press release, the Ronald McDonald House was selected by Subaru of Rochester as their hometown charity for the 2020 Subaru Share the Love Event.  Every person that purchased or leased a Subaru between November 19th, 2020 to January 4th, 2021, Subaru donated $250 to each customer's choice of charities.  The choices were out of 4 national charities and one local charity that supported the community.

Love this on so many levels...#1 because I own a Subaru.  #2 because my own family has been one of the many who needed a place to stay while my sister fought cancer and the Ronald McDonald House was that place.

I'm pretty sure every dog lover I know owns a Subaru.  It is so cute to see little furry faces staring at you through a window of an Outback as you are driving along Highway 52.  Their faces are adorable as they are older but they are super cute when they are puppies.  If you need to fill yourself up with some smiles and puppy faces, keep reading because I've got a bunch of pictures that are perfect for you.
