Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - A plea agreement has been reached in a Red Wing murder case.

20-year-old Michael Reyes entered a guilty plea to a second-degree murder charge during a hearing in Goodhue County Court on Monday. He had been facing 11 other felony charges, including first-degree murder in connection with a shooting in Red Wing on June 25th, 2019.

The victim, 28-year-old D'andre Hicks of Tampa Florida, was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital for treatment, but he died from his wounds the following day. Reyes fled from Red Wing following the shooting and was arrested a day later at a motel in Woodbury.

Reyes is scheduled to be sentenced on November 18th.
