LaCrosse, WI (KROC AM News) - It could be a white Easter in southeastern Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says a winter storm could affect the region and produce several inches of snow beginning Easter Sunday and continuing into Monday.

The agency says rain is expected to begin Saturday and transition into all snow Sunday afternoon. Although the NWS says the track of the storm and snow totals are uncertain, 1 - 4 inches of snow could fall across the region Sunday afternoon. Another 2 - 4 inches could fall Sunday night into early Monday.

Colder weather is also expected the next several days with high temperatures that will be 10 - 20 degrees below average.
