Up in a neighborhood in Northwest Rochester is an area that is being transformed into a new spot for our little ones.  A new elementary school is being built just off of Granite Drive NW and the Rochester Public School District is asking for your help in naming the new facility.

The school district posted the following fun announcement on their Facebook page:

Rochester Public Schools is building a new elementary school, part of our 2019 referendum plan. Situated in the Boulder Ridge area off of Granite Drive NW and Overland Drive NW, this new elementary school will be the District's 17th building to serve students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.

What do you think the best name would be for the brand new school?  If you've got a great idea, Rochester Public Schools would love to hear about it.  You can send it to them here:  www.surveymonkey.com/r/RPSElementary  You can find the criteria and process for naming the new school here.

And...I already know what you are thinking...it should be named something like School McSchoolyFace.

Do you think the name of the school should be named after a person or something fun? Let me know what ideas you have for the new school on my Facebook (Jessica On The Radio) or send it to me at Jessica On The Radio or DM me on Instagram.
