A Rochester location of the popular St Cloud Olde Brick House Irish Pub is taking shape in the Kahler Grand Complex. No news on an opening date, yet.

It's between Lasker Jewelers and Dunkin', in the space formerly used by O&B Shoes and Optical Vision. As you can see by the photo, the insides are looking like they're pretty far along.

I took a peak at the St Cloud menu...lots of things you'd expect, like fish & chips, bangers and mash(ed), stew, corned beef and cabbage, shepherds pie, and so on. Didn't expect to see the meatloaf, fancy chicken dishes, and caper & dill risotto.

FUN FACT: Does it look a little familiar? The plans for the place were actually drawn up by an Irish firm. You probably know one of their other designs, The Local up in Minneapolis. That's why I've heard of 'em because I LOVE The Local (great fresh corned beef hash on Sundays).
