Twin Cities (KROC AM News) - Two more Minnesotans were killed in traffic wrecks Thursday, both in the Twin Cities.

Since Monday, the Minnesota State Patrol has reported six traffic fatalities.

The first deadly wreck on Thursday happened around 10:00 am on Crosstown or Highway 62 in Minneapolis.

The State Patrol says a car driven by 23-year-old Alice Tibbetts of Mendota Heights rear-ended another vehicle. Her car was then rear-ended by a pickup truck and she was killed. The driver of the truck was identified as 29-yer-old Darrin Gregory of Minneapolis. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other deadly accident involved a pedestrian.

The State Patrol says 38-year-old Nicholas Hunt of Lake Crystal was driving on I-35E in St Paul around 8:30 pm when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle. The State Patrol says for some reason, Hunt got out of his vehicle, ran down an embankment and then into the left lane of I-94 where he was hit by a car. He suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
