Pannekoeken was a Rochester favorite for over 30 years and had a prime spot in the Days Inn building in downtown Rochester up until late 2018. The 100-year-old building was demolished in December of that year leaving the popular breakfast restaurant without a home until recently.

Pannekoeken has a new name, Hollandberry Pannekoeken, and a new home at 214 N Broadway Ave. And according to Jeff Kiger from the Post Bulletin, they could be serving up their famous Dutch home-style cooking again very soon. Kiger's report says the new restaurant will seat about 140 customers and could be open by the end of the week or by next week.

For those that don't know: A Pannekoeoken is a Dutch oven baked pancake. They are super light and fluffy and are available in a ton of flavors.  Follow them on Facebook for updates.
