St. Patrick's Day is coming up this Sunday, and both the Irish and non-Irish will no doubt be taking part in the festivities here in Rochester. Corn beef and cabbage! Leprechauns! Catchy jigs! And of course, lots and lots of beer - including green beer!

Step One: Buy The Right Beer

Hopefully you're not stuck on dark IPAs, because you'll want to get a lighter beer for maximum greenness. If you don't want to skimp on the ABV, a pilsener should do the trick.

Step Two: Buy The Right Food Coloring

Here's the twist: You don't want to use green food coloring to dye your beer. Instead, blue food coloring will mix with the yellow hue of your beer to create brilliantly green mug o' brew. Who knew? SCIENCE! But wait, you're not done yet. There's one more crucial part to make this project all come together...

Step Three: Drink Your Green Beer
