Holy night.. i bought this cereal to go with a random elf scheme... figured i’d try it! Will be a staple during this season.. its so delish! Imagine fresh christmas sugar cookies with ice cold milk.. little mini marshmellows pair well! I had to make a bowl to eat before bed! Sat the bowl down to write this review.. my husband picked it up and went to town!!!! Im not going to lie.. I’m contemplating divorce.

We got my daughter an "Elf on a Shelf" last year (2019), so we got her the cereal too. It was disgusting, tastes NOTHING like sugar cookies or even sugar for that matter. Definitely pass on this. We threw the whole box away...it was that bad, had like an old cardboard taste (wasn't expired)..

One more thing...according to a review on cerealously.net,

Most of all, this cereal has marshmallows too, to add sweet textural variety, but the reason it’s taken me so long to discuss them? There are fewer marbits in my box than there are creatures stirring on the night before Christmas. And the marbits that do rear their dextrose’d heads are somehow smaller and more disappointing than even Kellogg’s typical chiclet marbits.

Don't want to shop Wal Mart? You can always buy it from Amazon for an aftermarket price of...what?

Wal Mart: It's official name is Kellogg's The Elf on the Shelf, Breakfast Cereal, Sugar Cookie with Marshmallows and it'll "Bring the magic of The Elf on the Shelf to the breakfast table during the holidays with this official cereal of the North Pole."

JR - Hmmm...OK. Describe it...

WM: It's red and green star-shaped cereal pieces offer a crispy complement to sweet marshmallows; Every spoonful is bursting with sugar cookie flavor. Mrs. Claus' special recipe features a good source of 7 vitamins and minerals in each serving; No high fructose corn syrup.

JR: That sounds pretty fancy...does Mars Clause have boxes of those vitamins and minerals?

WM: "Good boys and girls will love the addition of these sweet stars and marshmallows to wintery mornings or mixed in with snowy days as a crispy anytime treat."

JR: Will the cereal report to mom or dad about how the child's stomach, liver, kidney, and maybe even spleen are behaving?

WM: No high fructose corn syrup!
