Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - A western Minnesota man is scheduled to be sentenced in February for repeatedly raping a St. Charles woman after breaking into her home in November 2018.

32-year-old Zane Pederson of Spicer appeared in Winona County Court on Friday and entered a guilty plea to a first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. He was indicted last year on a total of 18 felony charges, including multiple counts of first and second-degree criminal sexual conduct after DNA evidence linked him to the crime.

The criminal complaint states the victim woke up to find a man wearing a mask and armed with a handgun in her bedroom. The attacker left after raping the woman several times and threatening to kill the woman and her child.
