Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The final defendant charged with being involved in a violent home invasion in Rochester last year has pleaded guilty.

19-year-old Mohamed Mohamed of Rochester entered into a plea agreement last week and admitted to a felony count of simple robbery. Six other felony charges are being dropped through the plea deal.

Mohamed and three other young men were accused of forcing their way into an apartment at the Eastwood Ridge Apartments complex in February of last year. The victims told investigators two of the intruders had guns and one of them struck a 20-year-old woman on the head with a hard object. They also identified one of the attackers as the person they had made arrangements with to purchase marijuana.

19-year-old Nelson Soro and 20-year-old Ngor Mabor previously pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to probation. The fourth defendant in the case was later killed in an unrelated shooting in a parking lot and another southeast Rochester apartment complex near the RCTC campus.

Mohamed is scheduled to be sentenced on December 14th.
