Oakdale, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is reporting two fatal crashes occurred in Minnesota on Friday and one involved a bicyclist.

It occurred around 3:30 in the afternoon in Washington County where the State Patrol says a 30-year-old man from Mahtomedi was traveling east on Highway 36 in the far eastern Twin Cities suburb of Oakdale when his SUV struck the bicyclist as he was crossing the divided four-lane highway at a busy intersection controlled by traffic lights.

The State Patrol says 24-year-old Amanda Walker of Longmont Colorado was driving an SUV west on Highway 30 near Cottonwood when she crossed over the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound semi-truck.
