Oronoco, MN (KROC-AM News) -

Arson is suspected in the fire late Friday night that destroyed a 100-year-old farm structure near Oronoco.

Olmsted County Sheriff's Captain Scott Behrns says the fire in the granary was reported just after 11:20 p.m. by a person who also saw two cars leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The Pine Island Fire Department responded to fight the blaze that wiped out the 20 by 30-foot building.

Behrns says the exact cause of the fire is under investigation. An estimate of the dollar loss from the fire is not available.
