Legends Bar and Grill has decided to temporarily close due to a rise in COVID cases in Rochester. The downtown bar shared the news on their Facebook page:

Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Rochester and especially the downtown area we at Legends have decided to close temporarily effective immediately and until further notice. Although Legends has no known or confirmed cases of staff or customers infected with the virus we feel it’s in the public’s best interest to close and help stop the spread of COVID-19. We want to ensure the safety of our staff, customers, and the public. We have been in contact with the local health department and will continue to keep in contact and monitor the situation as we move forward. Thank you to our loyal staff and customers during these uncertain times we look forward to seeing you all soon. Together we will beat this!!!

Late last week, Forager Brewery announced they were closing. Dooley's Pub announced that it was closing for two weeks on July 5th.

Olmsted County Public Health is advising anyone who has visited downtown Rochester bars between June 26th and July 7th to contact their healthcare provider to determine if they should be tested for COVID-19.
