Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Conditional bail was set at $2 million today for Rochester murder suspect Ty'Jhuan Anderson.

He was formally arraigned this morning in Olmsted County Court on second-degree murder and attempted murder charges, along with a related weapons violation. Anderson, who had been a fugitive since last November, was brought to the Olmsted County Jail yesterday after spending time in the Hennepin County jail following his capture by US Marshals in New Hope last Friday morning.

The Olmsted County Attorney's Office issued a warrant for his arrest last November after investigators identified him as the suspect in a fatal shooting at the Village at Essex Apartments in late October. Anderson is accused of killing 18-year-old Mikayal Gordon and critically wounding a 20-year-old man in a shooting that took place in the hallway at the apartment complex.

The criminal complaint says a witness has identified Anderson as the shooter and investigators obtained Snapchat videos of Anderson at a party the night of the shooting brandishing a handgun. Police say the weapon matched a gun that was found outside the apartment complex after police responded to the deadly shooting.

Anderson is due back in court on March 23rd.
