Minnesota Vikings fans could have a familiar foe come into U.S Bank Stadium on Thanksgiving Night.

Reports have come out that the Minnesota Vikings could be hosting a game on Thanksgiving Night, and the opponent could very well be the Philidelphia Eagles, who defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the 2017/18 NFC Championship Game as well as leapfrogged the Vikings on the final day of the 2018 regular season to make the playoffs.

The report came from an interesting SI Media Podcast, and according to the Star Tribune, it looks like the nightcap could feature the Vikings and the Eagles. One f the guest on the show, John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal, said "It's not dead set, but I'm told that it's pretty likely"

It is not set in stone at all and it was supposed to be "likely" that the Vikings were to open the season against the Eagles this year, and instead the Eagles took on the Atlanta Falcons.

It would be the first time ever the Vikings have hosted a Thanksgiving game, but Minnesota has had success on Thanksgiving, with an all-time record of 6-2 in their 8 appearances.
