More Heavy Snow This Weekend in Southeast Minnesota
The average high temps this time of year are supposed to be in the low 50s. We aren't anywhere close to that. Spring has been delayed and records for cold temps could be set this weekend.
It's certainly going to be cold this weekend with temps in the upper 20s and, to make matters worse, we're expecting another round of heavy snow. The National Weather Service is saying accumulating snow will fall on Sunday into Monday. They say this weekend's snowstorm could dump similar amounts as the one that hit earlier this week. Some areas in our listening area could see as much as 8-10 inches of snow.
As you can see, in the prediction map above, there's a really good chance that Rochester will get 4+ inches. Keep your fingers crossed, hopefully this is the last winter storm we'll have to deal with this Spring.
