Depending on which part of the country you live in, there are always going to be things that are unique to your region. Like surfing out in California. Or fishing for lobsters in Maine. But a Duluth police officer just posted the best 'Only in Minnesota' Tweet.

The Land of 10,000 (frozen) Lakes has been getting a decent amount of snow lately. Some areas of the state received nearly a foot of the white stuff just in the past week alone. (Luckily, we were somewhat spared here in our neck of the woods.)

But in the Twin Cities and parts north, there's been a lot of snow falling within the past week. Which probably explains this Tweet that was sent out by Duluth police officer Hurst, who routinely patrols the North Shore with his trusty canine partner, Hondo.

He apparently was called to a disturbance over late Saturday night where he had to inform several Minnesotans in his jurisdiction that it's not legal-- even here in the Bold North-- to be pulled behind an SUV and rope while wearing your downhill skis.

Now THAT is perhaps the best 'Only in Minnesota' Tweet I've seen yet this winter season. Too bad it didn't happen in the days leading up to Super Bowl LII, when the national spotlight was pointed in our direction. That would have REALLY made people scared of our Minnesota winters!
