I joined Tracy McCray in Owatonna for the last Cross Country Meet of the season, and the slow-mo video probably features your kid, or a kid you know!

The day was super cold, super windy, and I loved every minute of it.

Tracy is, I think, the cheeringest JM mom on the planet. As you'll see at the end of the video (which is TOTALLY worth fast forwarding to), she cheers so loudly, and so often, and for so many different Rochester schools, I believe she wanted to have kids just so she could be a high-school parent and cheer.

I'm no Tracy Level Booster, but you know what? It felt great to be out there, watching these kids with all kinds of reactions to the run. I especially wanna give kudos to the kids that hated every second of it, but stuck with it because they made a commitment. Keeping a promise is a strong thing.
