Back in October of 1990, I entered a contest offered on a Milwaukee radio station - "Win Your Own Hour On Our Airwaves." The contest was simple. Write them a letter & tell them why they should pick me. So, I wrote the letter and I WON, and the rest, like they say, is history! Ten days later I would have my first radio gig. Since then I have worked in radio part-time (around my full-time jobs) in Beaver Dam, WI, Appleton, WI, Tuscon, AZ, and for the past 12 years, right here in Rochester, MN. I enjoy going to concerts and supporting live music, My absolute favorite band live is ZZ - TOP, who I've seen LIVE 29 times! Also, Eric Church (23 times), Little Big Town (25 times), plus many 100's more, and many acts multiple times. If you wish just call me >>> #theConcertGuy I enjoy my gas grill, growing Hungarian heirloom peppers, playing acoustic guitar & harmonica, along with my full time job at a local, well known garden center on 2nd St. in Rochester. Working here at Quick Country (my 12th year) is a true passion, and it is still as thrilling and fun as it was on my first day in radio. Oh yeah, I am a proud papa, grand dad, and five-year Navy aviation veteran, too! LONG LIVE THE MUSIC!
