Amazon is testing a new service that will protect them from fraud by allowing you to know exactly when and where your package was delivered.

The online retailer has been testing a program called "Amazon Logistics Photo On Delivery" in select cities over the last six months. When a package is left at the customer's door a photo is taken by the delivery person. Amazon then sends an electronic delivery notification with the photo to the customer.

Amazon wants to use the feature everywhere to prove package delivery when customers say they never got the item.

You will have the option to opt out if you're uncomfortable with random delivery people snapping pics outside of your house. Business Insider has more on the "Amazon Logistics Photo On Delivery" program, here.
