Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - One of Rochester’s longest running festivals is scheduled this weekend.

The annual Rochester Greek Fest is being held Friday - Sunday and organizers are stressing one thing:  you don’t have to be Greek to attend.

The local Greek Orthodox church held its first fest in 1963 and it has relocated a few times and grown since then. It is now held at the church (703  W Center St, near the former Lourdes High School).

Church members make much of the authentic Greek food that is sold at the fest. Wines and other alcoholic drinks are available along with other beverages. There will be music and dancing. Tours of the church are also offered during the fest.

There is no admission charge.

Schedule:

Fri, Aug 25th 4pm - 10pm
Sat, Aug 26th 11am - 10pm
Sun, Aug 27th 11am - 4pm
